- The JSTOR database contains the complete archives of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, many of which date from the 1800's. The VC/UHV Library's JSTOR/Libraryrary Subscription/ collection consists of journals in the liberal arts and business. JSTOR

- Biography Resource Center provides thumbnail & narrative biographies on over 320,000 people from standard library reference books such as Encyclopedia of World Biography, Newsmakers, Historic World Leaders, Notable Twentieth-Century Scientists, Contemporary Black Biography, Religious Leaders of America, and Writers Directory.
