Room 301
This room has seating for 10 to 12 people. There is a large 35 inch monitor with AV/PC input for viewing videocassettes, DVD's, and power point presentations. The room is networked to our Tiltrac Automated System for direct viewing of videocassettes that are placed on reserve. A PC computer with a CD burner is available in the room. The room is also equipped with a Denon turntable, Sony dual cassette deck, and a Sony Amplifier/Tuner.
Room 302 - Viewing/Classroom/Study Room
This room will seat up to 6. There is a 32" monitor with a VCR for viewing videocassettes. A Pioneer DVD player and a Phillips/Magnavox DVD player is also available for use in this room. The room is networked to our Tiltrac Automated System for direct viewing of videocassettes that are placed on reserve.
Central Area 
There are 8 student-access Computers available in this area for students to use. All 4 computers have access to the VC/UHV Library databases, including the Internet, and word processing. The student- access computers may also be used for viewing video programs that are on reserve via the Titltrac Automated System.
Other Equipment
Other audiovisual equipment available in the Media Library includes two Hitachi and Panasonic camcorders, two Kodak Ektagraphic slide projectors and two Dukane filmstrip projectors. A Copyette E cassette duplicator, a Goldstar video duplicator and a Phillips Audio CD Recordable/Rewritable Burner are also available. Due to copyright policies, duplication permission must be provided before staff can duplicate any material.
All equipment available in the Media Center can only be used in the area and cannot be checked out for classroom or home use.
