AdministrationThe Administration Department is located on the first floor of the Library. The staff consists of two members, the Library Director - Dr. Joe F. Dahlstrom, who serves as director of library services for both Victoria College and the University of Houston-Victoria. The other staff member in this department is Administrative Secretary, Kathy Sullivan. |

Media CenterOur Media Center construction is complete - please check Whats New for informationThe Media Center is located on the 2nd floor of the VC/UHV Library. A collecton of over 6,000 media titles in various formats such as videocassettes, DVD, compact disc, CD-ROM, phonorecords, cassettes, audiobooks, and multimedia materials is housed in the Media Center. |

Periodicals & Interlibrary LoanThe Periodicals & Interlibrary Loan Department is located on the Second Floor. It houses the Library's collection of magazines, journals, and newspapers retained in paper or microform. Staff members of the Periodicals & Interlibrary Loan Department are Lou Ellen Callerman, Interlibrary Loan Assistant; Mitzie Stewart, Serials Librarian; Jo Ann Spears, Periodicals Assistant; and Shirley Parkan, Interlibrary Loan Coordinator. |

Cataloging & DocumentsThe Cataloging & Documents Department processes all library materials for the shelves. This department is located in the lower level of the Library and together with Acquisitions forms the Technical Services area. The Cataloging Department includes Rebecca Holm, Technical Services Assistant; Marc Vezeau, Cataloging Librarian; Suanne Bolech, Cataloging Assistant. |

Victoria Regional History CenterThe VRHC houses most of the library's books and journals about Texas and regional history. In addition, the VRHC maintains and makes available to researchers the archives of Victoria College and UH-Victoria, as well as historical manuscript collections obtained from individuals and organizations, and inactive county records for the seven counties in the Victoria area. The VRHC is located on the 2nd floor of the VC/UHV Library and is staffed by Sheron Barnes, Special Collections Librarian and Marie Adcock. Archives Assistant. The Photograph Collection, also a part of the VRHC, is located in the basement of the library and is managed by photographer Bob Allen. |

Technology/Web ServicesThe Technology Department of the Library has 3 staff members - Karen Locher, Head of Public Services; Gayle Hardcastle, Technology Assistant; and Paula Packard, Web Services Librarian. |
| picture coming soon | Access ServicesThe Circulation Department is usually the first point of contact for the Library user. At the Library Circulation Desk, staff members issue and update Library ID cards, check out material, handle printing from the Reference area computers, and serve as a point of access for Library reserve materials. Circulation staff include Greg Garcia, Circulation Supervisor; Lori Williamson, Access Services Librarian; and Patsy Brown, Circulation Assistant. |

Public ServicesOur Reference Department consists of nine librarians led by Karen Locher, who is the Library's Head of Public Services. During the hours the Library is open, a reference librarian is always on duty to help with questions from library users in person, by telephone, by email, and through online chat. |

AcquisitionsThe Acquisitions Department is located in the lower level of the Library. This department is responsible for the ordering and receiving of library materials. The Head of Technical Services, Gail Crockett, has her office in this department.
