Library Instruction

Research Workshops for Faculty

Library instruction sessions are one of the best ways to ensure your students develop valuable research skills using library resources. It is the mission of the Library Instruction Program to teach library users how to locate, evaluate and use information. Please consider setting some time aside to schedule a course-related workshop for your class.

Below are some examples of library workshops. The workshops can provide basic "how to" information or can be customized to a specific class or assignment. The workshops can be held in the library or your classroom (Victoria or any satellite campus). Workshops can also be broadcast using Instructional Television (ITV), or online using Adobe Connect or Panopto.

Please fill out the Library Workshop Request Form to schedule a workshop for your class.
