We are currently in the process of adding an instruction lab to the library's first floor in the area formerly known as the Leisure Reading Area.
The library instruction lab is a dedicated area for library and bibliographic instruction. When not in use for instruction, the lab will be available to all students for computer use.
This space will consist of 24 computers, desks, and chairs complete with a whiteboard, projector, and wall screen panel.
It will also contain a collaborative work area where up to six students can plug a laptop into a large monitor to work together on group oriented projects.
The Leisure Reading Collection is now located near the reference area on the Library's first floor.
The instruction lab is scheduled to be completed by Fall 2013.
